Hi @johnxie ! Well, I tried to import some of my Obsidian-styled test markdown files, and it looks like that Taskade uses a different 'dialect' that blocked to be imported some of the files to Taskade completely. All of them were imported, but some 'features' were missing. So, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the straightforward way, e.g. use Yarle to convert the notes from Evernote to Obsidian, and import its output to Taskade doesn't sound like an option. Option B would be to support the Taskade-styled output by Yarle, similarly to how I did in case of Logseq. But in this case, I face a problem also, because if I create a note in Taskade with a due date, and export it into Markdown, it doesn't contain any information about the due date itself. Which means that if I import it back, I think the due date is going to be lost, am I right? But anyway, my first question would be in this case(optionB) what is Taskade's kinda 'native' input language, something similar to MD? Or, as OptionC what came to my mind is - if it is an option for Taskade - to support HTML as input language, and use Yarle, because Yarle does the conversion in two steps: convert the note from Enex to HTML, and then put it MD, and as Yarle can be configured to keep the HTML files, it would be a good option to used them as input for Taskade. |

Hey @akosbalasko thanks for the response and kind words! Option A
Yeah we do support normal markdown but might not accept any other dialect other than Github Flavoured Markdown (GFM). We might interested to extend that support for common pattern as well. How does Obsidian handle due date in markdown? Option B We do have our own portable format we support but its still in experimental stage and not completed yet. So it will be a while before we share our own portable format publicly. Option C We actually support HTML as that how we support certain copy and paste as well. Do you take HTML source. We might be able to work out some solution for that. But you likely still face similar issue, where certain item are not imported like attachment and due date for now. |

Hi @lxcid , thank you for the insights! So I think the most beneficial for Taskade would be to complete its import/export function to enable the users to move or backup their notes from one Taskade account to another. This would be the first step, and I think the portable format will solve this issue (I mean allowing the users to export/import in Taskade portable format). |

Thanks so much @akosbalasko! Will chat with the team. Hope you also had the chance to check out our existing importer, it is under 'New project' on the workspace dashboard. |

@akosbalasko sorry for the late reply. We are finalizing a few more details on the portable format.
This is possible and I can share a bit more maybe next week, sorry for the delay. But we are near done! 👍 Both option you recommends sounds possible! |

Hi @akosbalasko, I apologize, but we haven't done so yet. I will sync up and double-check with the team to see if we can prioritize this sooner for this cycle. Sorry for the delay! CC @lxcid |

Hi everyone, cool repo, John here from Taskade. We recently had requests from our customer to update https://help.taskade.com/hc/en-us/articles/11942617493139--Import-from-Evernote with option to include https://github.com/akosbalasko/yarle.
We currently do support markdown import; what is the best way for us to integrate Evernote import more natively into Taskade? Would be open to any suggestions. Our outliner / editor demo is here: https://taskade.com/new
Thanks!
