Install problems - help needed

I am trying to install this python plugin on NB 11 under MacOS Ventura 13.6.
I have Python V3.10 and 3.12 available. Would prefer 3.12 if possible.
When the plugin tries to install I get:

Collecting pynguin
  Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement pynguin (from versions: )
No matching distribution found for pynguin 

When I look at the settings in NB, for the Lsp Server I see this:

Why python 3.7.3 and not 3.10 which is the default in NB ?

Any ideas on how to get this all properly installed and working would be most welcome.

Why python 3.7.3 and not 3.10 which is the default in NB ?

This is probably because a previous installation of the plugin was done before you make 3.10 the default. To reinstall with 3.10:

1. Make sure 3.10 is Default in Netbeans Python Options panel
2. Make sure Auto Update LSP Server on startup is checked
3. Restart Netbeans

If this doesnt work.

1. Delete /Users/Craid/..../Netbeans/19/.pythonlsp
2. Uninstall the Python Plugin
3. Install again

For information the plugin support Netbeans 13 and later not 11 as per Requirements section

When the Python plugin is uninstalled, NB loses the python settings tab, hence all knowledge of python versions. It is therefor not possible to set the version. On re-install of python plugin, only version 3.7.3 is present. Thanks for the update. Some of the old issues remain and I now find some new ones.

1. LSP installs all except pynguin.
2. Python version for LSP is still 3.7.3. Under platforms I have 3.10.2 set as the default. V3.7.3 is also there. If I remove it, it just comes back.
3. I changed the config (see below) to try and get rid of all the code standards checking. When I click 'Apply' all the warning go away as expected. However, on IDE restart, they are back, so it seems to ignore the changed config on restart. Adding some change, like a space, and clicking 'Apply' again is required to get the config specified applied. This is all highly annoying. It should load the correct one on IDE start.

1. It is normal! This was causing issue before as the library is not well supported in recent python. You can still force install it if needed by right click
2. As said before

• Set 3.10.2 as default
• Check Auto Update LSP
• Restart.
  I just tested and it works.

On point 2 above. Restart what? The IDE (Netbeans) or the computer ?
I followed the steps, quit Netbeans, started Netbeans and on the LSP Server page it still says 'Python Version: Python 3.7.3'
What am I missing ???

The doc was not very helpful. I redid my config, it is syntactically correct as far as I can see. Same issue - works when I apply it in settings, is ignored on IDE restart. If you see an error in the config, perhaps you could be more specific ?

I have resolved this problem by changing address of python package repository .
1、open a console ,then type this command:
pip config set global.index-url https://mirrors.aliyun.com/pypi/simple
2、restart netbeans IDE
