How do I enable geolocation api in electron?

I'm not being asked when I run npm run dev with this code:

  function getLocation() {
    if (navigator.geolocation) {
      navigator.geolocation.getCurrentPosition(showPosition, showError)
    } else {
      console.log('Geolocation is not supported by this browser.')
    }
  }

How do I enable this in my electron app?
