I am new to 5G and its simulation technologies. I ran a few tests with UERANSIM and Open5GS and could recreate a few scenarios.
I have created 2-3 UEs with a single gNB. Now I want to experiment by setting up a virtual switch between the UEs and gNB. To do that I need to have the IP route for the UEs and how the traffic goes via gNB to the core. I saw IP tables and route information but could not understand a few things. Can you help me with this? I just want to know how the UEs are getting inet IPs and if is it from the core subnet. Also how the traffic flows from say, 10.45.0.3 to 10.45.0.1 via the gNB IP?
