"alr search gnatcoll" fails

Hi, it is probably not the way to use it, but I don't think those errors messages are either normal, or if they are, useful at all, so I post them here.

It's probably related with the particular versioning of the zlib-dev package:

-->> Extracting native version from apt output: Version: 1:1.3.dfsg+really1.3.1-1

Mine is 1:1.2.11.dfsg-2ubuntu9 and the command works.

Huh okay but what do I need to do? Compile alr manually from the github repo ?

You can do that or download the nightly release: https://github.com/alire-project/alire/releases/tag/nightly
