jQuery.fn.bind() is deprecated

for (name in layoutMethods) {
    $N.bind("layout" + name.toLowerCase() + "." + sID, Instance[ layoutMethods[name] || name ]);

Change to $N.on(...) and adjust syntax if needed.

Agreed. Bind/Unbind are now recommended to be On/Off methods.
