Wrote Rebecca Franz to find out about AAAS and ROR IDs in Crossref metadata, since they're only using them internally now. https://www.crossref.org/members/prep/221 According to Crossref's Sugar database they use Highwire as a service provider.

Rebecca replied the next day and said they no longer use Highwire, but Atypon, which AFAIK is not yet ROR-enabled.

Had started with GRID, but then switched to ROR. There's a service they built that pulls the ROR data manually from the data dump and updating the OrgMapper service. Also the EurekaAlert! service uses ROR - Rebecca will connect me with them. They also use FundRef. It also gets used for internal reporting - research & data team.

Chris Reid connected me with Rebecca Franz. Emailed her to get more details about their use of ROR in their CTS (Content Tracking System), which they use for MS submission to Science, and to get permission to list them publicly.
