Wave plus stop reporting when Homey is restarted #4

Hmm, I haven't had this issue myself, it always reports after a reboot or shutdown of Homey. But I have my Airthings Wave Plus very close to my Homey, probably around 2 meters. Could you try if that helps as a test? I have seen a similar bug though, but I think that's Homey's fault. Sometimes Airthings Wave Plus stops reporting, and will throw Bluetooth related errors (I can see it in dev console). A simple reboot of Homey solves it. |
Mine is approx 2 meters from Homey. Reboot doesn't help. I can force reconnect when making a scan for a new Airthings Wave Plus. Anaxyd - Do you have other apps that use BLE. Perhaps it is these apps that make it reconnect. It could be the BLE Beacon app. I don't have other apps that use BLE or Bluetooth. Kind regards |
Mine is about 2m from Homey as well, but there's a wooden wall between. I am actually surprised how stable it is, (there's been a lot said about Homey's BLE connection), but this is still a (minor) issue for me. Would it help if we posted logs, or will they just say that the connection is lost? |
I have no idea if that matters but I don't have other BLE apps/devices either. |
I have just updatet to 3.2.0 and the isue is gone for me now. I have no idea why. |
@rindlerblabla What hardware version of Homey do you have? Do you have other Bluetooth apps installed? |

I have the same issue with the connection lost. One time at random (at one week usage) and always when the Homey is rebooted. Complete repairing helps, but I'm tired of fixing the flow because of the changed device. Distance between Homey and Airthings Wave Plus is 2m without any obstacles. App version 1.2.1 |
I keep starting issues, ha, but it's because I really like your app. 😊
Anyway, when Homey is restarted, e.g when it has been updating or when I pull the plug, my Wave plus stop reporting. A restart of the app or Homey does nothing, neither does changing poll interval, but when I search for BLE devices when trying to pair a new Airthings device (ends with a time out) it start reporting again.
Is this "call" for the device possible to add to the app startup, or is this a Homey core issue?
