Right now, psc ls and related tools don't identify duplicate directories, only duplicate files. It might save the user some time if Periscope could identify that a whole directory is a duplicate of another. I haven't thought much about how this could be implemented, but it is not trivial (e.g. can't be done without modifying database format).
Identifying duplicate directories is a feature proposal from @davidlazar; the notes above are based on our discussion.
