Hello,
I've been playing around with AG, for the first time today. And after a bit of network trouble, I've been very impressed with its capabilities. However, when running any Roland Cloud instruments on the AG server. They are all running very slowly.
For example, if I load up exactly the same plugin and preset on both my DAW and the AG server. And play both at the same time. The audio coming through from the server, is way lower in pitch than the local instance (despite sending it the same note data). It's not just the pitch that's slow, as things like arpeggiators run very slow, compared to how they should. Drum machines, play patterns too slow. And GUI is also running slow, as things like LFO indicators blink slower than normal.
I've tried all the Roland Cloud plugins. And they all exhibit this slow behaviour. I've also tried other high performance plugins like U-he DIVA, and various G-Force plugins. And they all run fine running on the server. It's only the Roland Cloud plugins, that are causing issues. I'm pretty certain it's not a performance issue of the server. As it runs the Roland Cloud plugins fine when hosted in a DAW that resides on the machine. I've also tried changing various settings in both the plugin and the server preferences. But nothing has made any difference.
So my question is. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Or, do Roland Cloud plugins just not work correctly in AG? Or, is my set up not compatible? See below.
Plugin: M1 Mac Studio/macOS Ventura v13.6.4/Logic Pro 10.8.1
Server: 8 core 2013 Mac Pro/macOS Ventura v13.6.4/Roland Cloud (all latest versions)
