When I used Linux, there was a way to use windows vsts using a program called wine, and there was some third party Linux plugins that let you open vsts in Linux. But the way it was implemented was cool. The plugins would show up as if it was a ordinary plugin it in the background it was using other layers of geek stuff to make everything work together without the user having to deal with rack plugin windows or a plugin to load a plugin within that plugin etc.
now for audio gridder. It would be nice if I was able to stream my plugins in a way that works behind the scenes but still feels like it’s a native plugin. This can be done by allowing the plugins to scan in your computer and show up in your plugins as if they were available natively but under the scenes the plugin will pop up but it will be streamed but still look like the plugin window as if you were using it without audio gridder.
I would really like to see this happen one day.
I remember for my Linux thing i was talking about. The way they did it was the windows plugins had to have a extension in the file name of the program layer so that when it would scan the plugins it would tag them but they would appear in your plugins folder with the same name of the plugin as if it was a Linux plugin etc
