Milestone
Question or discussion topic.
Find public information on pebble handling machines, if possible. Specifically, information on the machine that handles removing the pebbles from the reactor. If it is not possible to find publicly available information on the design of this reactor component, then the next best thing is to determine the frequency (in s^(-1)) that pebbles are removed from the core, so that pebbles can be "manually" removed from the bottom of the cute and reinserted at the top at this rate.
Provide details.
For an Xe-100-like model, we know the pebbles make 6, 6-month passes in their lifetime, and there are approximately 220,000 pebbles in the core. For other generic reactor models, we will need information on their bulk pebble flow rates.

How can this issue be closed?
Issue can be closed when either publicly available information has been found (and added to zotero), or it has been determined such information is not available, and an estimate of pebble removal rates has been calculated.
