Execute sidekiq job with polling

Hello. I have simple sidekiq job:

class SimpleJob
  include Sidekiq::Job

  def perform
    p "Job is performing..."
  end
end

And file that runs this job:

# run.rb
SimpleJob.perform_async

Then I start sidekiq and run this file:

bundle exec sidekiq -C config/sidekiq.yml -r $PWD/run.rb

And in console I have Job is performing... as expected.

But if I try run this job inside of polling job doesn't execute:

# bot.rb
token = ENV.fetch("TELEGRAM_API_TOKEN")
bot = Telegram::Bot::Client.new(token)

bot.listen do |_|
  SimpleJob.perform_async
end

bundle exec sidekiq -C config/sidekiq.yml -r $PWD/bot.rb

^^^ Doesn't work (SimpleJob.perform_inline works though)

So how do I properly run sidekiq jobs inside of polling?
