Dune support for sub..err... L1s

I am a dune data nerd and am always upset when I get to the border or edge of a subnet (er.... l1) from a data perspective.

I know dune integrations are costly (perhaps this could be part of a Retro9000 grant?), but was hoping that there could be some sort of sponsorship for L1s that could cover the costs.

1. "free" for a set probationary period (x months)
   OR
2. Once an L1 meets certain requirements (usage, txs, users, social traction, etc) then
   some sort of sponsored support kicks in. Then once the L1 reaches escape velocity the
   support ends and they start covering the costs.
   OR
3. something else.
