JIF as it's designed right now, it already is able to handle all types of documents (HTML, XML and SVG) with only a couple of issues that we are addressing now and fixes will be available with v1.7.6:

  1. The HTML property of a view is not properly updated when the document is not of type HTML.
  2. CopyHTML does not work when the the document is not of type HTML.
