Transparency / Newest Spine doesn't work #36
Comments
This project hasn't been updated in quite a while. I recommend https://github.com/jeremyfa/spine-hx which is more up-to-date. |
thank you :) |
Hey Ben,
Sorry to bother you with this again. I've talked to Jeremy, and he said that he doesnt support Spine for Stencyl runtimes, so he wasn't sure what the issue was.
At this point I'm a little desperate, and hoping you may still be able to help me with this. The original developer doesn't seem to be around any more either, so I can't get help from him :(
Basically, the only thing I'm having issues with now is just getting the 'Transparency' to work in Stencyl. I managed to fix the 'black' areas around the alpha (this was fixed by disabling the 'premultiply alpha' setting in the export. I've asked Esotericsoftware about the trnasparency issue, but they said it was something to do on Stencyls end, and not Spine.
So, even if you can tell me there is something I can do myself to check whether this is working or not, that would be great!
Again, sorry to bother you with this, but you seem to be the only one left who can help me with this.
Cheers
Lindsay

Hey Ben,
I'm having some issues with the latest build of Spine for Stencyl. It doesn't seem to handle Opacity or Transparency that well. I have attached a screen shot of it in Spine, and one in Stencyl. See how the one in Stencyl has the transparency as Black, and when the gold fades in spine, it doesn't fade in Stencyl.
Also, it doesn't seem to register the latest version of Spine for Stencyl.
Not sure of I'm doing something wrong, but was wondering how I could fix it.
Cheers,
Lindsay
