How do you return back to the original kanji look on the kanji tab (looked threw all the options), hating the new style and it not good for learning Japanese kanji so hard now to pick apart kanji to see the radicals now that make up the kanji and now the kanji for love not even the Japaneses kanji but the Chinese kanji that missing the heart radical inside it how many more of these kanji are Chinese not the Japanese kanji, this is bad for people wanting to learn Japanese kanji.

Hi @CowFroggers! Thanks for filing this. Sure, we can add an option to turn off the hand-written style kanji display!

I'm sorry you're finding it hard to pick out the elements of the kanji. The heart (⼼) component should definitely still be there for 愛 and it should certainly be the Japanese version of the character. Maybe you're seeing something different to me?

This is what I see:

By comparison, this what Morisawa's UD デジタル 教科書体 font (a Japanese font designed for textbooks which has a somewhat handwritten style):

Unfortunately Morisawa's UD デジタル 教科書体 is not freely available and I think the hand-written style is more useful for learning than the Noto Sans JP font we otherwise use. For example, 山 in Noto Sans JP is

But you don't write it like that. Instead the hand-written style reflects how you actually write it:

For comparison, UD デジタル 教科書体 is:

Anyway, I'm happy to add the option since I can understand that some people might prefer the non-handwritten approach.

I see the -kokoro- heart now, I don't why I didn't see it early probably I'm because spoiled with other font, I would like go to the option of non-handwitten and love the software and what you do thank you so much.
