Playbook with Composite Strategy

Hi there, hoping you could help me once again. I'm struggling to figure out the correct syntax to use a playbook with the composite strategy. I want to set it up based on the state so it runs the playbook when the cycle starts and then changes to fixed after the cycle finishes. Below is what it I currently have. It works fine of the fixed states but it just shows 0 during the state where it should be playing the playbook.

I see, this is not working yet in combination with composite strategy. I did have a quick look and the timer for playbook handling is not started in this case. Also need to overhaul some other things to make this work.
I will have a look but cannot give any ETA when I will work on it.

Maybe you can have a look at state_trigger option. And just create a playbook with 1 entry for the other states.

I don't think you will need to put repeat on true. Same for autostart, that will only be needed when you don't use states_trigger to make the playbook start when HA starts.
I would suggest to just test it. You might set state manually in developer tools, to avoid starting a real wash cycle ;-).

Thanks for the tips! So I figured i'd just try the one playbook first before setting up the others. I keep getting this warning. Any idea what I'm missing?

Here is the code I'm using. I get the same warning when I copy your states_trigger code directly from the documentation as well.

@chrisolson91 It needs to be states_trigger, not state_trigger. I will correct the docs.

I have also implemented support to use playbook in composite strategy, similarly as the configuration you shared initially.
With #2551
