[lib-v3-bug] The v3 library doesn't work on /v2/user/auth

The April 2nd Changelog shows that the V3 API keys should now work on the V2 API endpoints. But this is not the case for /v2/user/auth although it should be. There is a note that some of the /v2/user endpoints were deprecated, but /v2/user/auth was not in the deprecation list.
