Instructions (as per 15-05-2023)

1. Install emscripten following the documentation.
2. Install the ci-env conda environment from emscripten-forge/recipes/ci_env.yml(using these workarounds on Apple Silicon):
   2.1. Install directly from GitHub: pyjs-code-runner
   2.2. Install from PyPi instead of Conda: playwright
3. Install dependencies from special branches:
   3.1. python -m pip install git+https://github.com/DerThorsten/boa.git@postcb --no-deps --ignore-installed (from the documentation)
   3.2. python -m pip install git+https://github.com/DerThorsten/bitfurnace.git@emscripten_new --no-deps --ignore-installed (from the documentation)
   3.3. python -m pip install git+https://github.com/DerThorsten/boa.git@python_api --no-deps --ignore-installed (from this issue)
4. Add the emsdk path to a file ~/.emsdkdir (from this issue)
5. Add custom channels to the conda config:

conda config --add channels conda-forge
conda config --add channels https://repo.mamba.pm/emscripten-forge

These instructions differ in various places from the documentation!
