Create a new file file-name.sh for your Modification.
Copy all the code from script.sh and make the Changes on that file (Note: Never made Any Changes in script.sh file).
Commit all the changes with descriptive messages.
Push your modified codes to your forked repository.
Open a pull request to merge your changes back into the main repository.
