SAML not working in any Matrix client. #106
Comments
I have the same problem. I do also note that the post references |
i'm having the same prob as @tylnesh |
Nhaines, Tylnesh, and Fenris are all members of the Launchpad group Ubuntu Members, therefore should be allowed to use SSO on the ubuntu.com Matrix instance during this stage of testing. |
Thanks @ilvipero , @amandahla can you have a look please? |
There may be some mismatch in the URL that the SAML expects. We're using ubuntu.com as the server URL for the matrix client, but Ubuntu One mentions chat-server.ubuntu.com as the requested service. Just to be sure, I've tried using that URL as well, but still no progress. |
@tylnesh @fenris @nathanhaines We changed settings to fix the issue, could you please try and login with SAML again and share the result? |
Awesome, thanks for the confirmation @fenris , closing. |
Steps to reproduce
I've been trying to get on the ubuntu.com matrix instance. I've followed the instructions written here: https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/synchronous-communication-with-matrix/39535
Outcome
SAML always fails with an error message in this picture
