Your use case

Rumor has it that if you delete an account, you cannot bring it back or ever user that username again. We should:

  • Figure what the rename mechanics are on LP, e.g. can I rename lp/~kewisch to lp/~otherkewisch, and if so what does that mean for the Matrix account id? Do I keep my old id? Do I get a new one and the old one is blocked?
  • If a launchpad and/or SSO account is deleted, do they keep their mxid for the time being?
  • Is there a way to suspend, and if so what does that entail?
