Problem Statement

We need to be able to create a conda environment for designing integrated circuits using Cadence Virtuoso proprietary tools.

Proposed Solution

The following tools and libraries should be added to conda-forge. starting with at least one layout and schematic editor.

  • Viper: Design environment
  • Virtue: SKILL library and SKILL package manager:
  • SkillBridge: Python-SKILL communication interface
  • libpsf: Simulation results reader for PSF (Spectre format) data
