NINJA TIMEOFDAY

A Time of Day state device

Installation

Step 1 - Login to your block

Windows use putty / mac linux use terminal

ssh [email protected]

the password should be temppwd

Step 2 - Fetch the driver

cd /opt/ninja/drivers

git clone https://github.com/chrisn-au/ninja_timeofday.git

cd ninja_timeofday

npm install

Step 3 - Update the times that you would like to be notified

Edit the config file in /opt/ninja/config/ninja_timeofday using config.json as an example

mkdir -p /opt/ninja/config/ninja_timeofday
vi /opt/ninja/config/ninja_timeofday/config.json

Step 4 - Restart the Ninja Block process

sudo service ninjablock restart

Step 5 - Update the dashboard driver with the following states

Find the new device on the dashboard. From the cog on the top left corner choose add new state and add

DAWN
DAY
DUSK
NIGHT

and any others you have added

add config ability from the dashboard
