Map additional resources in CKAN to relatedIdentifiers or relatedItems in Datacite

  • Would need to adjust metadata intake form to label primary resource (dataset being published), relatedIdentifiers, relatedIdentifierType (ie DOI, ISGN, ARK, Handle, etc), and relationType (isCitedBy, Cites, isPartOf, HasPart etc) using DataCite metadata schema elements and attributes (https://doi.org/10.14454/3w3z-sa82) and find a place to put these in the ISO profile. (Nate)

  • Update CKAN UI to differentiate primary resource from related resources perhaps showing related resources types (article, protocol, dmp etc) (Matt)

  • Update mapping between ISO metadata and datacite metadata such that these new relations are populated in drafted and updated DOIs.
