I am experiencing difficulties with the circ_otest function from the MATLAB toolbox CircStat.
When I plot my data in rose plots (using circ_plot), some distributions are clearly not uniformly distributed, yet the p-values returned indicate otherwise. In some cases I even receive negative p-values.
The data sets I am using are vectors with elements valued between 0 and 2pi. Is this kind of data compatible with circ_otest?
I have received negative p-values for data sets of varying lengths, from a couple hundred to 3000 elements.
