http://www.cityofdayton.org/departments/pcd/Pages/LotLinksProgram.aspx contains a link to a pdf file that contains a list of city-owned vacant lots that are purchasable. It would be nice to scrape this data for display on the map.
It is a bit of tangent and off the core mission of the site, but it might be neat for a future enhancement.

Looks great! I'm away from the computer this weekend. I'd love to push that json to the LotLinker map when I get back.
