Description

Hello there, and apologies for the "duplicate issue".

I wanted to discuss the possibility of adding functionality like #486.

I am well-aware that I did not follow contributing guidelines to-the-letter; however, I had a working PoC, and I wanted to discuss it before going for the whole nine yards.

I feel what I am proposing might be "a bit radical" for the repo, and such, I thought it was best to come up with a "working" example, instead of religiously going through a checklist for a thing that "might not be wanted".

The draft has remained stale for long, and I'd like to see what would it take for it to move forward.

Thank you for your time and effort in this one! 😀

Hey @stdedos ! I was wondering if you have considered creating a custom cz rule: https://commitizen-tools.github.io/commitizen/customization/#2-customize-through-customizing-a-class
we even have a starter template https://github.com/commitizen-tools/commitizen_cz_template
you'll probably have to upgrade the commitizen version, but I think you have access to a lot of stuff from cz itself

I do not understand what are you trying to achieve though, if you can expand a bit more (maybe with examples) I may be able to provide more feedback
