So sorry to hear this. Praying for you and your family as you grieve your husbands loss. The scripts he wrote helped me get started into the world of Proxmox and virtual machines and I'm thankful for that! |

Dear Angie, I’m so sorry for your loss. Your husband’s generosity and passion were truly remarkable. The way he shared his knowledge and gave his time so freely to help others was incredibly inspiring. He had a rare ability to leave a lasting impact—not just through his expertise, but through his kindness and humility as well. It’s clear from all the messages and memories being shared how deeply he touched the lives of so many people. I hope you can find comfort in knowing the difference he made and the legacy he’s left behind. Please know I’m thinking of you during this difficult time. From Portugal |

Dear Angie, Your husband's work saved the rest of us many hours of work. He enabled us to try out new services, which has helped myself and others experience new software. I was extremely impressed when I experienced a problem one morning, and by the time I was encountering it, your husband had already fixed the problem; he did it less than a day after the problem was introduced, and it was a problem from outside his control. I was ecstatic that morning. I'm sad that he has passed, and I wish you and your family the best. Mein aufrichtiges Beileid. -Josh, Arizona, USA |

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of tteckster. His work significantly reduced the hours and fatigue I spent on the system. Because of his contributions, eyes that once found rest through his efforts now weep for him. Though I never knew him personally, he holds a special place in my life. Dear tteckster, rest in peace; may your light shine eternally. To his spouse and family, I extend my heartfelt condolences. In this difficult time, I hope it brings some comfort to know that his legacy and work are deeply appreciated by many. |

Dear Angie, Hearing news of your husband's untimely demise deeply saddened me; however I'm glad that you were able to find your way here and see firsthand how tteck's work stood out in the community, saving so many folks all those hours fixing stuff which he was extremely adept at, and I have personally learnt a lot from looking at all of his contributions, and several of them are long-time components of my own homelab. My deepest condolences. Regards, |

Dear Angie, A few years ago, I started coding my smart home solution for our flat. Turns out that I was not as brilliant as your husband. I spent countless nights browsing through tteck's contributions to improve our quality of life, and countless mornings showing my wife all the new stuff our place could now do. Your husband didn't just write lines of code. He helped me create a place my wife and I now call home. My deepest condolences from me and my wife. |

I just heard the heartbreaking news about ttec’s passing, and I want to share how incredibly grateful I am for everything he did. ttec’s Proxmox helper scripts opened up a whole new world for me and so many others. Thanks to his work, setting up VMs and containers with services already working became so much easier, even for people who might not have known where to start. Home Assistant was one of the first Proxmox VMs I set up using his script, and it’s been running smoothly for two years now—a real testament to how amazing and reliable his contributions were. His work wasn’t just about writing scripts; it was about sharing knowledge, making complex things simple, and helping a community grow. Knowing he’s gone is just so incredibly sad. To his wife, Angie, who shared this difficult news with us—please know how much ttec meant to so many people around the world. We’re grieving with you and keeping you in our thoughts during this tough time. Rest in peace, ttec. Your impact on this community will never be forgotten. |

Good afternoon! I am tteckster's wife. I don't have a clue if anyone will even see this because I'm not the computer savvy person that my husband was, but I wanted to try. I know that he posted an update regarding his health the other week, and I wanted to let you all know that he passed away a few days ago. If anyone sees this, maybe you could make a better post. Thank you for all that supported him. Angie
This is Angie, and to say I am overwhelmed by all the comments, thoughts, love, prayers, and condolences is an understatement. As well as the donations. My husband loved this site, and he was passionate about computers, coding, and all the stuff that goes with it. He showed me a lot of the comments that were made when he posted about his cancer and it made him smile. Thank you all for the love and support that you have shown to him, and now me.
He would be amazed that I even found his sight and was able to make a post. Thank you all again, it warms my heart that he touched so many lives.*
