Switching between conversations with an unsent message in the input box and the inputed msg stays constant. Expected behavior is for the input text to be part of the conversation, to be able to switch to another conversation and type a msg, and then switch back to the other conversation and return to the msg I was writing.

I'll take a PR. This is surprisingly hard.
