Describe the Bug

This is a screenshot of the error message.

I would like to upload an 8-bit file to you, but the file size is too large.

Steps to Reproduce

When loading a nii.gz file, such an issue arises: 16-bit files can be loaded normally, but 8-bit files encounter an error as shown in the screenshot. When using version 1.84.1, 8-bit files were supported for loading.
