Lag Issue in Scrolling with Bootstrap 5 Version of Material Kit Pro

I have encountered a performance issue related to scrolling in the Bootstrap 5 version of Material Kit Pro. When using the Bootstrap 4 version of the same kit, scrolling through pages is smooth and seamless. However, after upgrading to the Bootstrap 5 version, I noticed a distinct lag during the scrolling action. This issue is consistently reproducible and affects the user experience.

The lag is particularly noticeable when scrolling through long pages or pages with complex elements. It seems as though the transition and rendering are not as fluid as they were in the Bootstrap 4 version. This issue is critical as it impacts the overall performance and feel of websites using this version of Material Kit Pro.

I have not made any significant custom modifications to the Material Kit Pro that could have contributed to this issue. The problem appears to be inherent to the Bootstrap 5 version of the kit.
