  • if you insert a citation using the entity button the tags do not insert as they ought. In the screen shot included here I had selected the words "citation test" before clicking the citation entity button. As you can see, the bibcits and bibcit tags have been inserted after the selected text instead of around it and are not nested properly. I've tested this a few times and it seems to be inconsistent whether just bibcits or bibcits plus bibcit get inserted (it should be both, with the second nested in the first, and all surrounding the selected content) {replicated this in the standalone version}

This is particularly infuriating since the editor won't let you insert a citation without selecting some text first.

Also, no bibcit tag appears in the structure panel once the citation is added.

Standalone CWRC-Writer, sample biography entry.

presumably this is related to the PLACE/BIBCITS issue #389

This has been the standard behaviour for note-type entities for awhile, i.e. insert entity after the selected text.
What is the behaviour you expect to see, with regard to the text that initially is selected by the user?
