The source files in this directory are used to generate the man pages with AsciiDoctor. On FreeBSD, install AsciiDoctor with:
# pkg install textproc/rubygem-asciidoctor
To create all DMPACK man pages from source, execute the Makefile:
$ make man
For man pages in PDF format, run:
$ make pdf
And in HTML format:
$ make html
The man pages are written to ../man/. To convert a single document manually,
run:
$ asciidoctor -b manpage dmapi.adoc
View the result:
$ man ./dmapi.1
To convert a man page to PDF, run:
$ man -t ./dmapi.1 | ps2pdf - dmapi.pdf
The man pages can be converted to HTML format with mandoc:
$ mandoc -Thtml -Ostyle=../share/mandoc.css dmapi.1 > dmapi.html
Or, use the Perl script man2html to convert to HTML:
$ man ./dmapi.1 | man2html -title "dmapi" > dmapi.html
