not seeing a table

With the fix in #1 applied, I get this using Firefox:

I was expecting a table in the view.

(I used Firefox but it would be great if you can make yours work with Firefox as well, thanks!

We have discussed the issues with FF in detail on another thread #1 .

Here I just wanted to mention that this works nicely well in Chrome, also loads the style and script even if there is no body present in particular <view.../>
If there is no HTML body in the view I have displayed message "No HTML Content"

Conclusion:

I think we should conclude this FF related issue as I have researched enough and found that lot of people reported this bug to FF support team but they have not yet resolved it for good. Instead they are providing some unaccepted workaround which we can not accept. Like copying external files in one of there FF's directory.

I will recommend to try Chrome for debugging.
