File yellow-system.ini has been changed, only the UpdateEventDaily setting remains

Hi,
my site randomly stopped working as it should. Once I open it, it says that it couldn’t find ‚default‘ theme.
I didn’t changed anything on the webspace within the last two months. I checked the files and noticed that the yellow-system.ini was changed on the 15th April at 2:40.
only remaining content was: UpdateEventDaily: 1601603333
I changed the number slightly, because I don’t now the purpose of it.

Can anyone enlighten me about that?

Yellow runs daily checks, but it doesn't automatically update itself. The changed setting in your yellow-system.ini is a timestamp for the update extension. Please have a look in your yellow-website.log, this is the place to look for potential damaging updates and should help you to track down the issue. Without further information I would suppose a nonrecurring error in your file system.

What does the log file system/extensions/yellow-website.log say? Which Datenstrom Yellow release do you have?

There are no new/special entries in yellow-website.log only a message that my sidebar layout cannot be parsed: 2023-04-19 13:56:09 error Can't parse file 'system/layouts/default-sidebar.html'! need to further investigate/reinstall my old modified theme.

With your provided data we managed to identify the root cause of the issue. The core (18c683f) and update (4e337cc) extension files have been updated.

It's probably very rare to hit this issue, due to the frequency the update checks are running.

Please update the core extension to at least 0.8.109 and the update extension to at least 0.8.94. As an alternative (if updating is not an option) you could disable the update extension or incorporate the changes to your local files by yourself (from the commits above).
