The other day, I built a deck around Forget effects. The deck included also Wage Slavery (Control cards cost 0 and are forgotten when played.). At some point, I obtained a certain Plushie with the effect: "Whenever you forget a card, receive a random card in your hand." In combination with Wage Slavery, I had a pretty good chance of playing an insane amount of Control cards and collecting many benefits.
However, this slowed down the game performance considerably leading to very long waiting times. I'm not completely sure why the game slowed down that much. It could be the huge amount of effects on the dreamer and the torments. However, the fast growing forget pile might also play a role here.
Additionally playing this deck was no longer fun since torments were no longer challenging.
I suggest restricting the effect of the mentioned Plushie to happen only a few times each ordeal. (e.g. 3, 5 times)
The Plushie would still be strong and fun but games would no longer go out of hand that easily in combination with Wage Slavery or similar cards.

That is an expected broken combo, but it's fun when it happens. I don't want to nerf it just yet as it's not easy to achieve, but I'll test why the performance impact happens. But yes, it's likely due to the forgotten pile
