The monkey is inside us all.

" I had goals. My aspirations and dreams were set in front of me. And I was determined to achieve them, but then the abomination came. The monkey had wrapped itself around my brain. I could hear its cymbals ring loudly through my head. It controlled my every action. It was a parasite that I could never get rid of. It was time to waste every second of my life slaving away for the monkey, and there was nothing I could do to stop it. "

Mechanics and viability

Main mechanic intents: Untouchable, contentment, grudge.
Deck check: Ability to dish out damage at a steady rate, and make the most out of a hand. Basically, anti-instawin card.

Play on word of "Toy monkey", and the representation of procrastination.

If it doesn't sound like a boss torment, then it can be an act II foreboding.

The Boss

Torment comprehension: around 100. (Lower health due to untouchable)

Special: Starts ordeal with 3 untouchable, and gains 1 untouchable every turn.
Special: Starts ordeal with 1 distraction and deadline

Effect: irrational: will not take more than 20 comprehension per turn.

Note: Has two minion torments, Deadlines and Distractions. (Minion torments)

Torment intents:

  • Every 5 turns: Summon another deadline and distraction
  • Time draining: deal 25 stress to the dreamer
  • Procrastinate: Apply delighted to the dreamer, gain 3 contentment
  • Failed Opportunities: forget 2 random cards in the dreamers hand, gain 2 contentment
  • Lost aspirations: Deal 10 multi-stress for each torment in the ordeal
  • I don't feel like it: Apply 1 apathy and gain 3 grudge
  • Cymbalic warcry: Summons 2-3 distractions
  • Rare: The hill: Gain 5 contentment
  • Rare: The hole: Gain 5 grudge

Minions

Deadline:
Intent: Applies 3 untouchable to itself every turn.
On 5th turns: deals 15 stress to the dreamer.
Special: Doubt resistance, Envy Resistance
Comprehension: 25

Distraction:
Intent: Applies 3 untouchable to the monkey every turn
Effect: Upon defeat, relaxes the dreamer for 5
Comprehension: 10
Viability: Supposed to tank interpretation and status effects for the monkey and deadlines.
