Change-Wallpaper-Automatically: A fun Python script for spicing up your desktop.

  • Do you get bored of seeing the same wallpaper every day?
  • Do you want to discover new and amazing images from the internet?
  • Do you want to surprise yourself with a different wallpaper every hour?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this repo is for you!

This repo contains a Python script that automatically changes your desktop wallpaper every hour. The script downloads high-quality images from the internet, so you never run out of fresh and interesting wallpapers. It’s a great way to make your desktop environment more lively and enjoyable.

Benefits of using this script:

  • You can have a new wallpaper every hour, without any manual intervention.
  • You can get the best wallpaper for your display size, without any compromise on quality.
  • You can set up the script easily and quickly, without any hassle.

Drawbacks of using this script:

  • This script stores up to 5 wallpapers in a cache. To avoid any error, it won't delete any wallpaper when the cache is full.

How to use this script:

  • Step 1: Clone this repo using the following command.
git clone https://github.com/deepanshu-prajapati01/change-wallpaper-automatically
  • Step 2: Go to the cloned folder using the following command.
cd change-wallpaper-automatically
  • Step 3: Install all the necessary dependencies using the following command.
pip install -r requirements.txt
  • Step 4: Run the following command to open a special path in Windows where you have to put the file main.py.
start shell:startup

That's it! You are done! Just move the main.py file to the opened location and it will run in the background. Now whenever you start your PC, this script will change your wallpaper every hour.
