PP-Watch is a simple tool to display wind data from PiouPiou wind meters, either from Linux console or via a KDE tray icon.

The application is not a ready product per se, but is just an attempt to exercise meter data querying. Also, having a meter installed less than 1 km from my house, I wanted to see nearby wind conditions in my Linux environment without a need to open a dedicated web page.

Polling protocol is used to pull the latest measurement every 3 minutes. With the current PiouPiou interval of transmitting series of 3 measurements every 12 minutes, this gives delay from measurement to display 15 min at worst case (usually less).
