Direct jump to any image by its number

I’ve got galleries with hundreds of images (scanned documents). There are no thumbnails of images. I’ve got only links with image number. E.g. 001 / 002 / 003 / 004 - - - 1000 etc. These links are not visible after gallery is opened. To see links users should close gallery with opened image. Users usually watch files not from the begging. First they try to find start point of their interest (it may be file 345 or 429 or 853 or any other). And after the start point of interest is found users watch next files one by one. So I try to find convenient way to jump to any image by its number.

My question – Is it possible to add ~input field for direct page selection by entering its number from the start?

Input field can look something like enclosed screenshot.
