Doesn't work for GOG Launcher #31
Comments
Hmm, not sure what's going on there. Steam auto shutdown uses windows APIs for monitoring the network, so it shouldn't matter what app you are using. If you open task manager and select the network tab, do you see the download activity there? |
Strange. Do you have any antivirus installed? Have you tried to run it as administrator? You can also try to enable disk monitoring to see if the problem is only with the network. Go to the settings, in the disk monitor section pick the process of GOG and enable the monitoring. Start the download and see if the app picks it up. |
I only use Microsoft Defender, I added it as an exception in the settings and it didn't work. Disabling Microsoft Defender also does not solve the problem. Running as administrator did not solve the problem either. Disk monitoring is also active, but no output. |
Is it specifically GOG or every application? Can you try to download something in the browser? |
Unfortunately there's nothing I can do... In all the computers I tested it works, so I would need someone that has the problem to be able to debug it on their machine and try to fix the problem... |
@decimaldreamer, I had similar issues having no activity both on Network and Disk. Sometimes a restart would fix the issue. |
Hi, |
@Vojtak42 If the external device appears on Task Manager, I think it should. |
Well, it didn't appear. I was testing sd card with h2testw and taskmgr was showing reading speed around 20MB/s but the auto shutdown wasn't detecting anything although it was able to detect Steam's activity. |
Any fix or tips?
