The status bar is not handled by the core anymore [in order to provide colors etc.], so it won't adhere to any options. The plan is to take this basic HUD and deal with the different formats (portrait vs landscape) in more graceful way. Patches always welcome :)

What does the disclose option achieve? I've never used it.
