When running in Jenkins (cf. changes to docToolchain/ci-cd-demo#1) the jenkins-ssh-agent might be run by arbitrary users (e.g., Jenkins runs the Docker container with some arbitrary -u <user>:<group> flag). Therefore it is necessary to have write permissions to some global or Jenkins specific files and directories, i.e.,

  • /etc/environment
  • /home/jenkins/.gradle
