Improve the way color selection works

The keybindings for color selection are created by using the color index in the list of colors of the preset as a key binding.
This conflicts with the vim keybindings that will be later added and will cause bugs with palettes with more than 10 colors.
Change the way the colors are selected to solve these problems.
