Support for TFA 30.3039.IT #5
Comments
I don't have this hardware so is difficult for me to make it works with your hardware. However: I've downloaded the windows software for your device.
Please, sync your device with software using windows. In this way the display save the ID of the usb dongle. I think the ws-28xx driver may work out of the box. Please try again.... |
That sounds promising! The TFA device presents itself as a Lacrosse on the USB, so I'm pretty sure it is the same or similar HW. I contacted TFA asking for specs and they replied that they could not share them due to agreements with their supplier. I will give the ws-28xx driver another try. It would be great if the TFA devices could benefit from the same linux driver. |
I also want to use the TFA 30.3039 @mekhall What are your experiences? |
I got the same result as you, and so far I have not given it more time. |
Have the TFA 30.3039.IT datalogger as well, but I get stuck at this point: |
I just got a TFA 30.3039.IT datalogger and it seems to be almost the same solution as the ws-28xx. The VID and PID are the same, but the version i 2.0 instead of 1.0.
I'm trying to get this software to communicate with my TFA HW.
