Sorry if I misled you or if I expressed myself poorly. This piece of code was purely informative. Its purpose was to illustrate how the implementation of the component works, not its configuration. There is no need to define this code anywhere. However, if you have development skills and would like to modify the behavior of the component, you must first fork the component and then modify the code on your version. My idea was simply to show you that we don't have many options for managing the ventilation speed from the code component because it has homeassistant integration constraints.

In addition, I must say that I forked this component and completely redesigned it in another repository called MitsubishiCN105ESPHome. So my implemention is very similar to the Geoff one but might differ in some aspects.

Thank you for your work, Im using your repo since two weeks and it works greath. Sadly my dev skills are not so advanced and I cant make such modification.
