   1. What has to be done?
      1. Setup voting for release name
      2. Eclipse paperwork (1h)
      3. Further cleanups in iceoryx_dust and iceoryx_hoofs
      4. Documentation validation
      5. Go through the v3.0, move issues to the next release and get an overview what still needs to be done
      6. Currently, roughly 80% of the classes in iceoryx_hoofs are snake_case, fix the CamelCase ones before the release to avoid future API breakage?
4. ECA signage check is not working

3. Discussion about whether a release is sensible or not as there and nearly no new features on master and only quality improvements. New users would be based on the latest code base like e.g. include paths.
   1. Decision is that there will be no v3.0 release in the near future
4. ECA check is failing for https://github.com/eclipse-iceoryx/iceoryx/pull/1925 and it is not clear why, a support ticket should be opened with Eclipse if it continues to break
