Currently if one selects a resource in the Navigator (e.g. Project or Package Explorer) there is an option to:
a resource. Additionally one can drag&drop a resource to "move" it to a different place.
But there is no way to "Cut" a resource what is quite common in a file explorer to move things to a different location.
This is especially useful when one needs to move things that are "far away" or needs to expand multiple levels before getting to the final place.
